Message	I can't recall reading anything in a Road & Track or Car & Driver article that said anything about them handling like boats or having sloppy shifters. I've driven a friend's '73 911, '86 Cabrio, and '97 C4 and none of them exhibited anything like you described. I was very impressed with the C4's handling and would consider one of them if I couldn't own my TT anymore.
